James Williams
is in his fourth year with the Arizona Jazz Academy. He began as a student and quickly showed skills and promise. James was our first student teacher, working with middle school students with surprising effectiveness. James has won solo awards at many major jazz festivals and is currently attending Arizona State University on a Jazz Studies Scholarship. James can be heard Friday and Saturday nights at the J Nippon Restaurant at the Foothills Mall in Tucson.
