| Saxophonist Mike Kuhn hails from Buffalo, New York, where he attended SUNY Postdam. Mike was awarded his Bachelor of Music degree from the Crane School of Music. He was awarded his Master of Music from the University of Arizona. Mike is the Director of Jazz Studies at Pima Community College, where he has worked since 1990. He has an active big-band and improvisation class, and since 2000 has also been working concurrently at Cochise College in Sierra Vista, where he serves as the Director of Bands. Mike has been a fixture around the local music scene in southern Arizona since 1985, performing in rhythm and blues as well as in jazz arenas. He has a thriving private teaching studio and in 1993 released an all-original jazz album called "Pride and Prejudice". | ||
